About me |
Through my studies at UT Southwestern, I developed a passion towards providing evidence-based and quality care as a physician assistant in the family medicine setting having been to a program that strongly encouraged providing back to the community as a primary care provider. I enjoy creating strong patient-provider relationships with shared decision-making, helping patients find answers, providing education and resources, and being able to take care of the overall health of my patients. I believe I will be a great asset to the team as I have always been passionate towards working in primary care with adults, children, and families, creating strong patient-provider relationships, am empathetic, willing to learn, flexible with working hours, and able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. I received extensive clinical training through my physician assistant studies to include 8 weeks of family medicine at Texas Health Physicians Group, 8 weeks of internal medicine at Baylor Scott & White, 4 weeks of women’s health at Parkland and Clements Universities, and 12 weeks of pediatric medicine at MD Kids Pediatrics. My experiences have allowed me to work with a variety of patient populations for yearly physicals, acute care visits, mental health visits, chronic disease follow-ups, and much more. I am very eager to dedicate myself to the world of primary care medicine, and I aim to provide quality healthcare to my patients. |
